چکیده

Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) represents 1:250 cases in the United States. PAS is associated with significant maternal morbidity and mortality. Numerous centers for care of patients have been established data suggested optimal outcomes referral to a center. Current guidelines rely on historic ultrasonographical findings although less than 50% are successfully referred using these criteria. Thus, our goal was explore utility Placental Growth Factor (PlGF) as biomarker high risk previa PAS. Urine specimens were collected from suspected PAS, placenta previa, scheduled repeat cesarean sections. Quantitative analysis PlGF performed by ELISA. Expression profiles correlated analyzed diagnostic accuracy reproducibility. Specimens total 24 subjects (12 6 control). urine quantities assessed Average 6.1, 18.2, 17.6 pg/mL control, respectively (p=0.24). In addition cohort subdivided traditional pathology (accreta, increta, percreta), there no statistically difference final (p=0.67). growth factor expression may be detected distinguish between control but cannot did not discriminate among pathologies percreta). serve part developing biologic hierarchy detection tertiary care.

Abnormal Placentation: Placenta Previa, Vasa Previa, and Placenta Accreta.

Placental disorders such as placenta previa, placenta accreta, and vasa previa are all associated with vaginal bleeding in the second half of pregnancy. They are also important causes of serious fetal and maternal morbidity and even mortality. Moreover, the rates of previa and accreta are increasing, probably as a result of increasing rates of cesarean delivery, maternal age, and assisted repro...

Placenta Accreta and Total Placenta Previa in the 19th Week of Pregnancy.

Placentation disorders are the result of impaired embedding of the placenta in the endometrium. The prevalence of these disorders is estimated to be around 0.3 %. A history of previous prior uterine surgery (especially cesarean section and curettage) is the most common risk factor. Impaired placentation is differentiated into deep placental attachment; marginal, partial and total placenta previ...
